Did the lift in about a day with no previous knowledge and minimal tools. Best advice is to make sure you have stands so the whole front is off the ground, no doing one tire at a time. Spring compressors were a must for me but all in all it went in pretty well. If you live in a climate that uses salt make sure you hit the bolts on your shocks with penetrating oil A LOT. My buddy did the same kit and sheared off two out of the four bolts for the rear shocks. If you drive yours daily you don’t want to have to deal with this. Nitro shocks are as hard as they say but sitting on my 32″ BFG KM/2′s can’t say that I care.

Its a good lift that gave my 05′ Wrangler X a little bit more of a mean look to it. Took a couple hours to put on not counting all the beer, B/S, and other breaks we took pluss the lift was given to me by a friend…..but over all its a good one compaired to the other 2″ coil spacer lifts

I have put on a similar lift on a 99 Tracker. This one was definitely tougher to put in. The instructions are ok. I thought my coil spring compressors would make things easier…they just got in the way. You must loosen the sway bar no other way. The front took me 5.0hrs and the rear 1.5hr. It was just me putting it in. Having a friend help would be a plus. If anyone quotes installation under $250.00, IT’S WORTH IT!!! Because more than likely you will strip a bolt or need a tool. Skyjacker Nitro Shocks SUCK! Lift is just right. Oh yeah, a six-pack pack after will be needed for the busted knuckles and back pain.

I have read through several of the reviews and half of them are crap with people not knowing what they are talking about. It was a full day worth of work and it was around 50 degrees outside. First I would like to say the instructions were pretty easy to follow. You will need to get a couple of drill bits so read before you get started. Easy enough, the front actually took a little longer than the rear just because of the position to drill the rear track bar. I have had no issues and it rides pretty solid.

Installed about 3 times. Off centered axles due to track bar now being too short. Called SJ and ordered bracket which then cause the axles to off center the other side. Cost another 100..Next took it to 4x doctor..adjustable track bar..300 each…Took Sky Jacker kit off, It is in my trash where it belongs! Total Scam!!!!

I am appalled at how bad my 4 new shocks are (blown from the factory). Now skyjacker wants me to send the shocks from Portland, OR to Louisiana so they can see if the bad shocks are bad or if I just want to not have the use of my jeep for a few weeks. Awesome can I borrow your jeep in the mean time? DO NOT BUY SKYJACKER

The price is right with this one. I went to a shop just to see how much they would have charged me. $1000. ya, no thanks. i did it myself with 2 jackstands and a heavyduty floor jack. 2 1/2 hours later i was sitting pretty. !!!! words of experience. torque everything down that you took off. i didnt and i had the death wobble when i hit 40 mph!! all in all good tho.

The top of half doors are fabric ensontiexs,I always recommend to people not to get half doors.They seal at the top by pressing against the soft top.They tend to make a lot of noise at highway speeds and are a pain at toll booths and drive thrus.I do have a CJ7 with all fabric doors and love it but only drive it in the summer with the doors off.If this vehicle is just going to be a fun toy then get the half door,this option will be going away soon.Due to stricter federal guidelines removable doors and folding windshield will soon be gone.
